History: Rathkran was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. After coming to the age of reason, Rathkran took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Jeweler for the past few years.

History: Born in the east to a Marshal, Gerald learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Shoemaker, but he got bored and became a Marshal. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. After a long history of fighting, Zephan and his spouse have recently divorced.
