Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Qualen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Barkeep hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A gifted student he started as a Assassin, but he got bored and became a Gardener. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Gardener for the past few years.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He's in love; and he has a crush on the local bowyer

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
