Mâku took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up scythe and armor he uses now. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. Ar-Kaius enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born in the east. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ar-Kaius grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ar-Kaius. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
