History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. A freak accident while working with his Body Guard father left him crippled. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: Astar hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Miller. He has worked as a Miller like his mother before him.

The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
