Torinn Mystan, Male Dragonborn [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He stands about 6'2" and is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His left leg appears badly burned and disfigured. His blue crest is smooth and relatively long. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.
Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.
History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Torinn grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Torinn. Being a Dyer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
Ideals: Fighting. Flaws: Fearful. Bonds: Poor, Criminal record. Occupation: Dyer
Voice: Farmer accent

Skamos Cryptic, Male Tiefling [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he is wearing a long, green, dusty cloak. His hair is chestnut, silky, and of moderate length. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.
History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. While he appears to be a normal Tiefling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
Motivation: To end his boredom; and to find somewhere to settle down
