History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Through the years after Laucian was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Laucian's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Gifted from a young age, Roger studied abroad. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Description: He wears a grey vest and prefers blue and brown shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. He has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to cover his moderate length auburn hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: With red face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His golden hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. He has gleaming, smiling green eyes.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. Gimûb enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Gimûb and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is an amazing painter.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Miller work with an outfit from a few towns over. Miller work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
