He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Naeris lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At some point he was captured by goblins and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
