Personality: Varis speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. He worked as a nervous Ruler and found it very stressful. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Ruler for the past few years.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and doesn't want to be a ruler and was forced into it by his family

History: Norman was born the youngest of three triplets. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: Carrie lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Ruler, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Valorean liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Shipwright for hire.
