History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. During his travels, Rimple and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Rimple discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Rimple fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: Godfrey hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: Kairon was born with his father's beautiful face. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.
