His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A freak accident while working with his Bowyer father left him crippled. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Spear was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Spear abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He hates orcs. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: Kipper was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and obtaining odd cultural gnomish artifacts is his passion
