History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: Cockaby was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has never given up on his singing dream.
