History: He comes from a rich northern family. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Damien was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the orcs.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Faran was born the youngest of three triplets. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Dilettante hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Description: He stands about 5'4" and very much looks the part of a Layabout. His right hand appears badly burned and disfigured. His purple hair, when down, is lengthy. His eyes are black and beady.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He's also a talented Architect, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

Description: He is a pot bellied southern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He wears a simple tan robe with brown stripes complete with hood. His hair is short and silver. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is greedy

Description: 5'8" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His long white fur is drawn into a two foot long braid. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and someone believes him a fraud
