History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sage hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Elaim was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His first spouse was a Cartwright, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and doesn't want to be a shipwright and was forced into it by his family

He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
