History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Ethereal hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Cartwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Valafar was born on a far northern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Cook. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
