History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His first spouse was a Fortune-teller, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Fortune-teller they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Bookbinder, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: Halander was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Bard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Bard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature ceremonial dagger.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. Golm is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Golm was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Orc conditions. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bather they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Knight, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and balancing his hectic life and new ruler responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Zephan hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting dire rats, the young Zephan began to lead the lost caravan. He tends to his Fortune-teller job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
