History: He is a Maurezhi in disguise. Bertram abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. His hair is chestnut and curly. His ears are large.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Guard arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance.
