History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Through the years after Ortegar was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Ortegar's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Akmen was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Akmen decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: Frederick lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
