Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes orcs are coming to abduct people. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of orcs may trigger it at times.

History: He got into the Mayor business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Mayor. He has worked as a Mayor like his mother before him.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Paelias is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Paelias was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright.
