History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bookbinder they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Fortune-teller, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.
