History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Gnomes in Broce's homeland. Broce decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: He was born in the west. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tieflings in the west were limited. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
