History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Through the years after Barakas was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Barakas's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: He was born into a rich family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
