History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Gardain grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Gardain. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and many illithids want him driven away

Description: He stands about 6'1" and very much looks the part of a Slave Trader. His right leg appears badly burned and disfigured. His lavender fur is unkempt and raggedy. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep copper.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Mason profession.

History: Born to a Mason, his father struggled to pay the bills. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He became a Slave Trader soon after.

Motivation: Expand his business; and further expansion of business

Description: He is a pot bellied northern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He usually wears his grey robe and has his sai always slung over his shoulder. He has a white handlebar mustache and slicked back white hair. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt. His black hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines blue.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: The child of a Soapmaker, who enjoyed hunting, Seebo was taken on many hunting expeditions. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and a strong sense of loyalty to gnomish people

Description: This malnourished man wears a robe, a symbol of strength around his neck, and a falchion on his belt. He is bald on top and has large silver tufts of hair around his ears. His hazel eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Mortician born in the past three hundred years. He takes great joy in being the best Mortician in town.

History: He got into the Mortician business at a young age. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.
