Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. Gimble enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Gimble was born the youngest of three triplets. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature warhammer.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Courier work with an outfit from a few towns over. Courier work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 2 years.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Description: He is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing brown cape and mantle trimmed with soft grey waves gently in the breeze. He is portly but not overly obese. His white hair is knotted and matted. He has gold eyes.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He takes great joy in being the best Marshal in town.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Nicor grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Nicor. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Marshal responsibilities is difficult; and he has decided he is irredeemable
