He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Fragrant and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. His first spouse was a Scribe, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Peren never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
