History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Rolen. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tabaxi doctor. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Marshal.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Fisher hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
