History: Jak lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bather. Recently the stress of being a Bather has made it difficult for him to sleep.

History: He was born in the west. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.

History: Born to a Ruler, his father struggled to pay the bills. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has achieved small success as a Herbalist.
