History: Cairn was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

The war was a terrible time for him, and Dabbledob does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Dabbledob was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
