History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Shepherd work with an outfit from a few towns over. Shepherd work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has worked as a Shepherd like his father before him.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Assassin arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Arannis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
