Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears a brown collared shirt and green pants. He accessorizes with a grey scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across his shirt. He wears a Stetson hat to cover his moderate length auburn hair. His hazel unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is his passion; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: This slender man stands about 2'10". He wears a tan cloak and cross-gartered grey stockings. His hair is cut close to his head. His brown eyes peer out from beneath his wide-brimmed tan hat.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Hamil took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up lance and armor he uses now. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: Ernest is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Ernest was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty green coat over it. His auburn hair is braided into rings. His brown eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature quarterstaff.

Motivation: He's in love; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
