Description: A middle-aged man, he very much looks the part of a Fortune-teller, and is pretty ugly. His hair, while still mostly black, has prominent grey streaks. He wears an eyepatch.
Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.
History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He tends to his Fortune-teller job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Fortune-teller responsibilities is difficult; and sabotage a competitor

Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright green and white, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He has a long auburn beard with little hanging trinkets. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.
History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: He is greedy; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He has moderate length auburn hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.
History: Korfel was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Apothecary hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Description: This dark-skinned male wears a black shirt with thin tan vertical stripes and white pants. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His white hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His eyes are violet and beady.
Personality: Oren is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Oren was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

History: He was born in a small plains village. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact
