Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bernard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
