History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.

He found a children's book about a Dwarf Warrior who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
