Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tabaxis in Spring's homeland. Spring decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was born in the north. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: He is an average looking northern male in his early mid-life. He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His chestnut hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His eyes are likewise green. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and revenge

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His childhood dream was to be a Herbalist, but he was a colossal failure. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
