History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the north were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Tethren embodies much of what other species detest in the Tieflings. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Hirrathak lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and doesn't want to be a painter and was forced into it by his family

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Roland was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he wants to get laid
