History: Cressel hails from a village terrorized by giants. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Cressel alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and money/treasure

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born to a Barber, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to drow.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
