History: Altho was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Bard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Bard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Altho grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Altho. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. After a long history of fighting, Leucis and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has achieved small success as a Sage.
