History: Varis was born the youngest of three triplets. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

This copper eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: Shadow is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

History: Quick was born with his father's beautiful face. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
