History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. After coming to the age of reason, Kerkad took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: John was raised in a hard working conservative environment. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered giants who tried to eat his hand. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To be a Tanner again.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. Fax enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He tends to his Apothecary job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and sabotage a competitor

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Lewis was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: Revenge; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
