The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Guard they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Soapmaker, and he later adopted a second son.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Armorer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He tends to his Armorer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
