Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Lance grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

His skin is also unnaturally pale. His white hair is smooth and relatively long. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he feels threatened by others

Description: His left side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He wears a robe, a symbol of magic around his neck, and a ceremonial dagger on his belt. His hair, while still mostly silver, has prominent grey streaks. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He worked as a nervous Beggar and found it very stressful. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Beggar responsibilities is difficult; and human compassion

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He's also a talented Seamstress, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a pastel costume with the symbols of luck on his torso. His black hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His eyes are violet and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Apothecary arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A freak accident while working with his Shepherd father left him crippled. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and an old rival family wants him found
