History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Soapmaker.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and wants his loneliness to end

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Bertram is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Bertram hails from a village terrorized by goblins. He has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Laborer who has hired him part-time. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of orcs may trigger it at times.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Arnold was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the orcs.

Motivation: He's in love; and someone believes him a fraud
