History: Mordai hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Mordai alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Târz was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. History: Bathin was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tiefling companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance.
