History: He was born in a small island village. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Through the years after Adran was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Adran's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Adran and his spouse have recently divorced.
