History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Ruler who has hired him part-time. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: John lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, John and his spouse have recently divorced.
