History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the north were limited. After a long history of fighting, Umpen and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Courier. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

Description: This southern man is abnormally tall. He typically wears brown cloth garments or leather armor. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He wears his silver hair up. He has gold eyes.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Kairon fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: Born in the west to a Cartwright, Damien learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He worked as a nervous Cartwright and found it very stressful. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
