When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Shepherd. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has achieved small success as a Shepherd.

Personality: Arannis is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He got into the Bookbinder business at a young age. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Arannis was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and someone believes him a fraud
