History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, giants burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Barrister but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He got into the Butcher business at a young age. A gifted student he started as a Crown-heir, but he got bored and became a Butcher. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Butcher and occasionally as a mercenary.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born in the west to a Ploughman, Pandjed learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Glassblower, but he got bored and became a Ploughman. He tends to his Ploughman job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
