Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with green lining and desert motifs. He keeps his blonde hair in a pixie cut. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Gnomes. His skin is light but he possesses many yellow ritualistic tattoos. He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His red hair is unkempt and raggedy. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines violet.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with music. He constantly tries to fill his life with music. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Fabien alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Description: He stands about 4'5" and wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized grey coat. His left leg appears badly burned and disfigured. His auburn hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. He has a dull look in his gray eyes.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his painting with anyone who is interested.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and to unite with his sister

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears a brown vest and prefers grey and white shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His silver hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His amber eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and revenge
