Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His blue hair is knotted and matted. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 55. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Description: This southern man is abnormally tall. He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His brown hair has been sun bleached extensively. His eyes are green and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Everard hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He is a Jackalwere in disguise. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with tan lining and desert motifs, and a wedding ring on his right hand. He sports a long red beard, and similarly colored long hair. This blue eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Hugh embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Varis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Many orcs want him driven away; and he is content
