His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Ruler. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Born in the north to a Body Guard, Ernest learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He now owns his own business.
